THE BODY OF ANTICHRIST

Part XXIV

The present study has utilized the Lord’s revelation of the three timelines – BC, AD, and the Antichrist Age – to properly place the timing of key Prophetic passages in the Scriptures. These synchronizations are largely based on the foundational understanding that these timelines are “rightly divided” (II Timothy 2:15) because the LORD has chosen to reveal “hidden wisdom” to this generation.

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory” (I Corinthians 2:7).

In recent chapters of the Body of Antichrist, we have asserted the inauguration of the “Restrainer” that obstructs the spirit of Antichrist occurred at the beginning of the AD Christian age, as the New Testament documents.

“For the [spirit of Antichrist] doth already work…and even now already is it in the world…only he who now [restrains it] will [restrain it] until he be taken out of the way” (II Thessalonians 2:7A, I John 4:3, II Thessalonians 2:7B).

Thus the Satanic power, that is alternatively called the “mystery of iniquity” (II Thessalonians 2:7) and the “spirit of antichrist” (I John 4:3), and even “that wicked one” (I John 5:18) -- was present in the world as the salvation of JESUS CHRIST was delivered -- but the evil was restricted by the power of God. 

We further synchronized this hampering of Satan’s power with the passage in Revelation, which says that Satan was bound from his unwavering goal of destruction of God’s creation.

“And I saw an angel come down from heaven…and he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and bound him” (Revelation 20:1,2).

Satan’s restraint continued throughout the AD Christian era, as articulated by the Six stages of Christian history that God has revealed through the construct of the three timelines of Six stages in each era.

“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six” (Revelation 13:18). 

As the AD Christian age of preeminence in the world has elapsed with the arrival of the Antichrist Age (the third timeline), the “little season” (Revelation 20:3) in which the Restrainer is “taken out of the way” (II Thessalonians 2:7) has emerged.

“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations that are in the four quarters of the earth” (Revelation 20:7).

Even though Satan was restricted during the AD Christian timeline, Jesus Christ said that the Christian age  would be anything but calm.

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. I am come to send fire on the earth…for judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and they which see be made blind” (Matthew 10:34, Luke 12:49, John 9:39). 

In our last installment of the Body of Antichrist, we connected the two interactions between Satan and the LORD, as articulated in the book of Job, with the AD Christian Era, and the subsequent age (the Era of Antichrist) when Satan was “loosed” (Revelation 2:7).

The person of “Job” is actually an allegorical image of the redeemed in Christ, as we now enjoy the LORD’s “perfect” and “upright” (Job 2:8) standing before the Father, as a result of the sinless Spirit of Christ entering in and giving us the Spiritually regenerated new birth.

“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation” (Hebrews 9:28).

By yielding to the divine perfection of Jesus, we became “new creatures” (II Corinthians 5:17) in Christ, and we are in Him now in the Spiritual realm, at the right hand of the Father. 

“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for [the seed of Christ] remaineth in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God” (I John 3:9).

The details of the exchanges between God and Satan recorded in Job, describe the particulars of the two historic ages, the AD (when Satan was allowed to harass the Christian but was restrained from directly harming him), and the Antichrist Age when the Devil was loosed to a much greater degree.

As we showed in Part XXIII, the binding of Satan’s malice is not applicable to the Body of Antichrist, and the unredeemed are completely defenseless against his malevolence. In this regard, many believers fail to apply the multitude of Scriptures that instruct the Christian to treat the enemy as though he is a military opponent committed to destroy us.

“Therefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and have done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:13).

This is particularly acute in the second interaction seen in Job, which is descriptive of the Era of Antichrist, when Satan’s activity is allowed to touch mankind with all sorts of maladies.

After the LORD noted the uprightness of “Job” (as a Prophetic Metaphor of the redeemed Christian) for the second encounter, Satan sought to bait the LORD with His slanted perspective.

“And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life” (Job 2:4).

This is actually a very accurate comment during our time, for society has digressed to the point that the medical infrastructure is now the among the most vibrant of professional sectors, as people are living longer, and they will indeed mortgage their homes, drain their bank accounts, and exhaust every available avenue in order to stave off serious health conditions. 

One would have to be isolated from social norms to miss the fact that health insurance, government issued benefits like Medicare, and the virtual avalanche of pharmaceutical products from Big Pharma are seemingly everywhere. Thus, sinful society is incentivized to stoke the fires of maladies, with the commercially available,   manmade solutions in mind. 

Others are actually entertaining the idea of immortal physical life, as there are those who are seriously trying to find ways to extend their earthly existence. Life Extension magazine is proof of that statement. Furthermore,  Cryogenics, is still an option as people are hoping to preserve their corpse after death against the day that science will learn how to revive them.

Meanwhile, the notorious Neuralink brain chip is thought to be a step towards the transference of the human mind into a computer or a robot. 

“Some, like computer scientist Ray Kurzweil, believe that humans will be able to upload their entire brains to computers – and thus achieve “digital immortality” – as early as 2045” (Thom Waite, Dazeddigital.com).

The rest of us are faced with the ever encroaching grasp of physical death, as the Scriptures tell us.

“It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).

As previously stated, we perceive that Satan’s second interaction is referring to the timeline during the Era of Antichrist, in which the Devil seeks to maneuver God into allowing him to directly harm mankind.

“And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. Put forth thy hand now, and touch [Job’s] bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face. And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life” (Job 2:4-6).

The physical shadow of this Spiritual interaction may be seen in the Scripture, when society has now put individuals in the position where they are driven to adhere to the culture in order to be allowed to physically survive. This is seen in the notorious “mark of the beast” texts which indicate that no one can “buy or sell” except he that complies with the Beast’s mandates.

Furthermore, the governments of the world colluded in a global campaign to coerce compliance to a medical charade that severely penalized any and all that refused to “volunteer” to have our God given genetic design modified. This was an unprecedented conspiracy that directly impacted the physical health of the individual.

The sophistication of the mRNA technology (Messenger RNA) is still being hotly debated, but the evidence indicates that coercive behavioral control capability is an intrinsic aspect of the shots. Intriguingly, the Greek word rendered “sorcery” in English, is Pharmakeia in the original manuscripts of the book of Revelation.  

“That no man might buy or sell, save he that [complied with the beast’s demands]” (Revelation 13:17).

Satan’s overall campaign is ably articulated in yet another sequence of Scriptures, where the “Strong Man” is Satan, and the “Stronger than he” is the Lord who came to rescue us from the clutches of the Devil. In this example, the synchronization of the Restrainer, and the similitude of the twin timelines in Job, is confirmed.

“No man can enter a Strong Man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the Strong Man; and then he will spoil his house” (Mark 3:27).

The “armour” spoken of earlier surfaces again, as the Scriptures tell us the Strong Man is armed, and we have long determined his weapons are the twin iniquities of Death and Hell.

”When a Strong Man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace” (Luke 11:21).

But when the “Stronger” comes upon him, he takes the “armour” the Strong Man trusted in.

“But when a stronger that he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils” (Luke 11:22).

Jesus declared His victory at the cross had won the “keys” of Satan’s divided “armour” with His death and resurrection.

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).

Christ shared those “keys” with His followers, when He declared the kingdom of God had arrived – and He gave the power to “tread” on all the power of the enemy – likening “Serpent and Scorpions,” which we have repeatedly shown are euphemisms for Antichrist and False Prophet, to Satan’s defeated power. 

“Behold I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy…notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven” (Luke 10:19,20).

In that same passage, Jesus again confirmed His identity as the LORD who came down from heaven, for He plainly stated He was present at Satan’s fall – thus validating His successive statement that He is able to give us the power to overcome.

“And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven” (Luke 10:18). 

But more on the Lord of Glory, and how His heroic rescue of His fallen creation was accomplished, will have to wait for another writing.
